Sorry for the delay, but better late than never! 2019 was a very good year for the lab. Here are some of the highlights:
-Patrick Hall and Morteza Asgari passed their Qualifying Exams, so they are officially PhD Candidates.
-Dustin Crouch, along with collaborators David Anderson (UT College of Veterinary Medicine) and Stacy Stephenson (UT Medical Center), received a Seed Grant from the University of Tennessee to support their research to test the concept of an implantable prosthesis that can be physically attached to muscles.
-Dustin Crouch and Patrick Hall had their abstracts accepted for Podium presentations at the annual meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics, which was held jointly with the International Society of Biomechanics in Calgary, Canada.
-As part of the IREK12 Program (https://irek12.org/), Dustin Crouch attended the Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences (MRS) clinical boot camp and research day.
-The lab had our first paper accepted for publication in December 2019 in the Journal of Applied Biomechanics. The paper has been published online ahead of print, check it out! https://doi.org/10.1123/jab.2018-0369
